Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 12:49 "Barred from Holy Communion", in consequence of her crimes as governor of Kansas; however, it's obvious that the sanctions of Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop Naumann and Mons Loverde haven't impeded Mrs Sebelius's continued zealotry on behalf of the culture of death and the stripping of the Church's rights-- what, I wonder, is the "surgery" referred to by Dr Edward Peters in this post? I recently deleted my own private list supra of the ecclesiastical malefactors I'd excommunicate because, after all, I don't pretend to be any sort of 'competent authority' and, also, my hammering and squashing would likely do more damage than good, however much better it'd make me feel, however briefly: but I imagine that the time is come for those prelates who are competent to command their canonists to be drafting decrees excommunicating the likes of Mrs Sebelius and Mrs Pelosi, whatever the proper canonical terms and processes are. The media and the politicians just don't 'get' the latae sententiae business; bells, books and candles.
